The day began well - my computer spotted (and seems to have dealt with) a virus, and our non-stick frying-pan stuck. Cooking little sausages for the boys' packed lunch suddenly became a major drama. Humph!

I had a hard-working, mundane day at work- but I got good news from a colleague at lunchtime, so that brightened up the day.

Finally - and I'm sure it isn't the 13th today - I got to church for choir-practice, only to discover that half of them were going to a meeting fifteen minutes' later. We practised for fifteen minutes. Then I went and replaced the frying-pan. Every cloud has a silver lining.

I need to do some research now, so I'll just quietly go and get on with it!
